Mason Hartshorn "M-1000" — Team Black MMA Fight Team
Mason Hartshorn
Mason "M-1000" Carzino-Hartshorn is a professional mixed martial artist competing at flyweight out of Team Black MMA in Pittsburg, California. With an 8-2 professional record, he is ranked among the top 10 flyweights in California and competes in both pro MMA and Muay Thai.
Hartshorn is riding back-to-back knockout wins. He stopped veteran Hector Fajardo of Team Alpha Male at Napa Knockout, then followed it up with a 30-second TKO of Kelvin Martinez at LFA 243 on October 9, 2026, at Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz — one of the fastest finishes on the card.
Hartshorn came up through Dan Black's coaching system and remains one of the busiest fighters on the Team Black roster, taking professional bouts across MMA and Muay Thai rulesets. His preparation runs through the same daily classes and coached rounds available to every Team Black member, alongside training with the Skrap Pack at El Niño Training Center in San Francisco.
Between camps, Mason helps coach at the gym — meaning beginners at Team Black regularly get technical feedback from an active, ranked professional.
